Justice League aerial second unit director Clay Staub shared a new photo of Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke in support of the Zack Snyder cut.

During the post-credits scene of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke boarded the yacht of Lex Luthor after being summoned by the recently-escaped-from-prison villain. As audiences learned, Lex Luthor had called on Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke to propose the formation of a supervillain in response to the arrival of the Justice League.

Now, Justice League aerial second unit director Clay Staub has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo of Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke from the aforementioned scene. The photo was shared in support of the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, with Staub noting that it’s time to experience the “real” version of the film.

Joe Manganiello was originally set to portray Deathstroke as the primary antagonist in Ben Affleck’s Batman film. However, Ben Affleck eventually stepped away from the director’s chair and the role altogether, leading to Matt Reeves taking over and developing a new story that did not involve Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke.

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
