New differences between Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League and the one that we all saw emerge every day as the director himself reveals that his cut had a different Green Lantern.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League, as we all know, had a troubled production. The issues began with a dramatic shift in direction while the film was in the middle of production due to the mixed reaction to the franchise’s previous film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Justice League ran into an even bigger problem when director Zack Snyder had to leave the project due to a personal tragedy, with director Joss Whedon taking over post-production duties. This resulted in an extensive round of reshoots leaving many to wonder where Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League ends and where Joss Whedon’s began. Now, however, we know that Zack Snyder’s version had a different Green Lantern.
A fan posted a question regarding a Green Lantern who appeared at the start of Justice League. The fan was curious as to whether or not Green Lantern who appeared on screen was Zack Snyder’s Green Lantern. Zack Snyder himself answered, confirming that the Green Lantern was in his cut but wasn’t THE Green Lantern:
