In exciting news for fans of the Merc with a Mouth, Deadline reports that Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams are reprising their roles as Dopinder and Blind Al in the next Deadpool movie. The two actors are joining the already star-studded Deadpool 3 cast, which includes Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen.

The return of these two Deadpool fan-favorite characters is sure to be a welcome sight for fans of the Marvel series. Dopinder’s quirky personality and Blind Al’s no-nonsense attitude provided a perfect balance to Deadpool’s irreverent humor in the previous movies, and audiences will no doubt be excited to see how their characters develop in Deadpool 3.

Deadpool 3 once again features Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth, with Hugh Jackman co-starring as Wolverine. The two characters have a long history in the comics, but the two haven’t shared the big screen since 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The first two Deadpool movies were produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio’s acquisition by The Walt Disney Company. Deadpool 3 is being written as the first movie in the series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who else is attached to the Deadpool threequel?

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.

Deadpool 3 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
