The Boys star Karl Urban dons Robert Pattinson’s The Batman suit in a new concept inspired by the upcoming DC Comics movie.
While he’s currently hunting superheroes on The Boys, Karl Urban dons a cool new version of Robert Pattinson’s The Batman outfit in this fan edit. Fans are loving Urban’s performance in the latest season of The Boys, which has a heavy focus on Billy Butcher and his wife Becca. But Urban has a versatile acting range, so it would be interesting to see him lean even heavier into the brooding side of his character in the Amazon series to replace Robert Pattinson in The Batman.
The concept comes from a digital artist known as ‘rinsh_art’ on Instagram and sees Karl Urban with Robert Pattinson’s The Batman costume but with a red chest symbol and red detailing throughout the Batsuit. The look feels like a redesign of the Batman Beyond costume or even Batwoman‘s look. The artist explained in the caption that he thinks The Boys star would be a perfect candidate for The Batman. You can see Karl Urban with Robert Pattinson’s The Batman suit below.
What do you make of the concept? Would you like to see Karl Urban become The Batman instead of Robert Pattinson? Comment below and let us know!
Here is the official synopsis for the second season of Karl Urban’s The Boys:
The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
The Boys stars Karl Urban Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, and Nathan Mitchell. So far, the series has added Goran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit for season two.
