Kathryn Hahn responded to the news that a WandaVision Agatha Harkness spin-off is in development.

Marvel Studios’ WandaVision was the first piece of new Marvel Cinematic Universe content after a year and a half long break since Spider-Man: No Way Home. The series received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, receiving multiple Emmy nominations, including one for Kathryn Hahn’s performance as Agatha Harkness.

Recently, it was announced that a spin-off series for Agatha Harkness was in development at Marvel Studios. When asked by Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of starring in her own WandaVision spin-off, Kathryn Hahn played coy:

“I don’t know if there is such a thing as a WandaVision spin-off, honey. I have to be honest, all I can say is I love Agatha. As we know, anything can happen in Marvel. So who knows?”

Marvel Studios is looking to expand the MCU on Disney Plus. While films will remain an important aspect of the franchise, the advent of Disney Plus as well as the success of their original series such as WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and What If…? will likely lead to more shows, even spin-offs within the shows. It will be interesting to see if Kathryn Hahn’s spin-off will see the light of day.

Here is the synopsis for WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe with Kevin Feige producing; WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness.

WandaVision is available to stream on Disney Plus. Keep following along to stay up to date on all of the latest surrounding upcoming MCU projects including the future of Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
