Kathryn Hahn Teases Marvel Fans Will Be Surprised By ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’

A surprising twist!


It seems Kathryn Hahn has a few more tricks up her sleeve for Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. The Marvel actress recently teased the surprising nature of the WandaVision spin-off.

WandaVision was one of the most well-received projects for Marvel in recent years, leaving the perfect opportunity to capitalize on the craze with a spin-off. Though fans have been left scratching their head on why the studio would greenlight Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, star Kathryn Hahn teases the series will be more than worth the price of admission.

“I wish I could tell you anything. I can tell you that it’s pretty fan– fabulous, I’m going to say that,” Hahn told Entertainment Tonight at the SAG awards. “I was going to say fantastic, but then I decided to go with fabulous.”

“It’s an amazing cast. I’m in awe of everyone’s work in this show and I think people are going to be surprised,” she continued. “I don’t — I think they’re gonna think it’s one way and, of course, it’s gonna go a million different avenues kinda like WandaVision.”

With the series being a spin-off of the most surprising Marvel series to date and helmed by the WandaVision showrunner, it’s clear Kathryn Hahn is attached to one of the most exciting Disney Plus series yet. Now, if only the show could land on a proper title!

Who else is attached to the Agatha Harkness series?

Agatha: Darkhold Diaries is a spin-off series of WandaVision and revolves around Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness. The show is being developed by Jac Schaefer, who served as head writer and executive producer of WandaVision. Schaefer was also one of the writers behind the hit Marvel films Captain Marvel and Black Widow.

Besides Kathryn Hahn, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries also stars Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, Kate Forbes, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman and Kate Forbes. Jac Schaeffer, Gandja Monteiro and Rachel Goldberg are directing the series.

In addition to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, another spin-off series focusing on The Vision is also currently in the works at Marvel Studios. With multiple spin-offs in development, WandaVision fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years.
