Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose Tico reappears on a Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker t-shirt after fan backlash.

Star Wars fans had a lot to say about Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi, among them was the criticism of Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose. Unfortunately, this lead to Kelly Marie Tran being harassed off social media. At Star Wars Celebration back in April, Kelly Marie Tran received a warm welcome at the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker panel after her social media exit. Star Wars fans are now awaiting a better look at Kelly Marie Tran’s return as Rose after the first trailer for The Rise of Skywalker.

A new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is expected soon as Triple Force Friday launched all the new products for the upcoming film this past weekend. Some controversy swirled when Amber Goldsmith on Twitter noticed that Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose was left off a Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker t-shirt after apperaing in the same art design. Absolute Cult, who made the t-shirt, responded saying they would never forget Rose. They went on to say that Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose wasn’t included on the digital asset from Disney.
