Hobbs and Shaw had a few surprises for audiences but the biggest one was probably the appearance by Dwayne Johnson’s friend and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle costar, Kevin Hart, who revealed his secret role in the film in a new video.
Kevin Hart’s role in Hobbs and Shaw was relatively minor and more of a cameo than anything else. In the film, he encounters Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw on an airplane where he tries to make a pitch to join them. Later on, Kevin Hart’s character tells them that he is good to help them whenever they ask before revealing that he is in a public bathroom.
In Kevin Hert’s video, he congratulates Dwayne Johnson’s film being another big hit and encourages audiences to go see it. It also gives us a few clips of his scenes in Hobbs and Shaw:

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are, of course, friends, having appeared together in the 2016 film, Central Intelligence. The two would then appear together in 2017’s surprises hit, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Since then, both Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart have had an ongoing friendship and frequently poke fun at each other on social media.
