Jumanji: The Next Level star Kevin Hart is ready to return to work following his near-fatal car accident in September.

E! News reports that Kevin Hart is working on a new promotional campaign for his new film, Jumanji: The Next Level with co-stars Dwayne Johnson, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. According to E! News, Kevin Hart is still on the road to recovery from his spinal injuries, but his doctor gave him the approval to return to work and that he is mobile and able to move on his own.

Johnson, DeVito and Glover reportedly worked on reduced schedules for this upcoming Jumanji marketing campaign in order to accommodate Kevin Hart.

Last month, Kevin Hart and two of his friends were involved in a major accident when his car swerved into a ditch in Malibu Hills, CA. Kevin Hart’s car, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda was severely damaged and he sustained major back injuries as a result and was immediately hospitalized.

Kevin Hart reportedly underwent surgery to fuse two major fractures in his spine. He was released from the hospital 10 days later and was sent to a rehabilitation facility for recovery. According to insiders, Kevin Hart is expected to fully recover, and based on him returning to work on this marketing campaign for Jumanji: The Next Level, it appears that he is ready to make his public return very soon.
