Jumanji: The Next Level star Kevin Hart will require weeks of therapy after sustaining major back injuries in a car accident.
On Sunday, Jumanji: The Next Level star Kevin Hart underwent major back surgery after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident. Now, TMZ reports that Kevin Hart’s surgery was a success and he is expected to be released from the hospital by the end of the week.
However, the outlet’s sources say Kevin Hart, who was sitting in the passenger’s seat of the vehicle when the accident occurred, will require weeks of extensive physical therapy before he makes a full recovery. Furthermore, the Jumanji star will have a fixed schedule of follow-up appointments with doctors.
Kevin Hart will soon reprise his role as Franklin “Mouse” Finbar when the third Jumanji film hits theaters this holiday season.
In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game.

Jumanji: The Next Level will be released in theaters on December 13, 2019.
