The Eternals star Kit Harington has commented on the recent release date delay of Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated Phase 4 film.

Phase 4 was originally going to begin this month with Black Widow, but due to recent events, it has now been delayed to November. The Eternals was set to follow Black Widow, but now that film has been pushed back along with the rest of Phase 4 on the movie side. The latest franchise added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s roster will now arrive in February. Despite the release date shift, fans are still hoping the very first trailer for The Eternals to debut soon.

So far, we’ve seen pictures of Kit Harington on set, but we’ve yet to see him in the Black Knight armor. While several Marvel Studios projects have been put on hold, The Eternals managed to finish principal photography prior to the production shutdowns around the world. However, Harington will probably have to return for reshoots and some point as post-production on the film continues remotely. During a fan Q&A session, Harington said the following about The Eternals delay:

“Well [The Eternals] is done, that’s filmed. It’s just, God knows what happened…or what’s going on with it, I have no idea. I don’t know what’s happening with anything right now.”
