Kumail Nanjiani Comments On ‘The Eternals’ Coronavirus Delay

Kumail Nanjiani has commented on the recent news of Disney moving The Eternals to February 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Last week, a shift in Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 slate was announced as a part of Disney’s release date shuffle due to the coronavirus. The Eternals was originally going to hit theaters on November 6, 2020, but that release date now belongs to Black Widow. The Eternals has now moved to Shang Chi‘s release date of February 12, 2021.

Filming for The Eternals has already wrapped, but Marvel Studios probably has to fit in reshoots at some point before the film hits theaters early next year. It was also likely that the first trailer for The Eternals was on its way before the delay too. As we wait for more news on the film, Kumail Nanjiani took to Twitter to comment on The Eternals‘ coronavirus delay.

When do you think we will now get our first trailer for The Eternals? Sound-off in the comments section below!

Here is the official synopsis for Marvel Studios’ The Eternals:
