Lando Calrissian’s full name is cleverly revealed in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker thanks to an inscription on one of his props.
Billy Dee Williams’ Lando Calrissian quickly became a fan favorite after his initial appearance towards the end of The Empire Strikes Back, but it’s been revealed that Lando Calrissian isn’t his full name thanks to a new image that was recently posted online. Billy Dee Williams’ Lando Calrissian is returning in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and fans were pleased to see the character piloting the Millennium Falcon alongside Chewbacca in the footage released so far.
A new image from Endor Express shows Lando Calrissian’s cane in The Rise of Skywalker with an inscription circling the around the handle. After translation, the cane reveals that Lando Calrissian’s full name is “Baron Landonis Balthazar Calrissian III.” Given that it’s a lengthy name, it’s not surprising that the charming rogue shortened it to Lando Calrissian.
