Sentry’s suit has finally been revealed! A new figure from an upcoming Thunderbolts toy line gives fans their first look at Lewis Pullman’s costume in the MCU.
Thunderbolts has quickly become one of the most anticipated projects in the MCU. In no small part, this is due to the involvement of Lewis Pullman, who will be making his debut as Sentry in the film. The interesting part about that is that Sentry is not officially confirmed to appear. All official material refers to the character as “Bob”. And, aside from a few suit teases, there’s been no hard evidence of the hero in the footage that has been officially released.
Though the MCU is not immune to the dreaded “figure leak”. Comic book properties are infamous for having plot points spoiled by toy lines, and Thunderbolts is no different. This time, it seems as though Sentry’s full suit in the film has been revealed. The sculpt clearly shows Lewis Pullman’s face, albeit with slightly lighter hair than seen in previous pieces of footage from the project.

Sentry’s Suit In Thunderbolts
Of course, fans have their usual issues, as with every other suit in the MCU. There’s too many lines, it’s too armored. But other than that, the reaction to Lewis Pullman’s outfit as Sentry has been mostly positive. This includes the modernizations that Thunderbolts has made to the design, such as the slit in the front of the collar and making the inside of the cape a different collar to the costume’s trim.
It’s not likely that fans will see footage of this design until a week or two after Thunderbolts releases in theaters. After that period, it’s likely Lewis Pullman’s Sentry suit will be all over the post-release marketing for the film. Though given how hard this costume likely was to properly adapt into the MCU, Marvel certainly deserves the victory lap to flaunt their suit. Especially if the film manages to surpass expectations at the box office!
