Logan director James Mangold has revealed a new piece of concept art that show’s Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in one of the film’s early scenes.
When Logan was released in 2017, the film shocked audiences with just how gritty and mean spirited it was. The film’s opening scene arguably cemented this, as we discover Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine drunk in a limo before taking on a set of gangsters trying to steal his tiers. Wolverine dispatches them some difficulty but the entire scene is set up in a way that makes the whole fight come off as more horrifying than thrilling.
Later tonight, Logan director James Mangold will be taking part in a watch party for the film. Ahead of this, however, he shared a bit of concept art that gives us what appears to be an early look at this scene. You can see the full image below:
