While Logan may have been Hugh Jackman’s final performance as Wolverine, the critically acclaimed film also introduced audiences to Dafne Keen as X-23, a young mutant with powers similar to the titular hero. The character quickly became a fan favorite and audiences have been calling for her to return in a future X-Men film or receive her own solo feature. During an interview with Screen Rant following a screening of Logan Noir, director James Mangold shared his vision for an X-23 film should he be tasked with developing the project.
Though Mangold did not reveal any potential story details, he did offer his vision for the core concept of an X-23 spin-off film.
“A very honest film about young people, is what I’d say – a very honest film about young people growing up.”
