Logan has opened to critical and box office success as fans have flocked to theaters to witness Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as the titular hero after nearly two decades of playing the role. Hugh Jackman has also taken the opportunity to bid farewell to the fans who have supported him through the years, even appearing at a number of Manhattan screenings of Logan to thank fans in person. Now, while sharing an image of himself with fans during a promotional tour in Beijing, Jackman has been trolled by an equally popular member of the X-Men franchise.

Jackman took to his official Twitter account to thank the people of Beijing for welcoming him, only for Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds to comically inform him that the crowd of fans may be actually be protesters.

Directed by James Mangold, the film stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Doris Morgado, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Patrick Stewart.
