Logan Lerman Isn’t Interested In Playing A Superhero

While promoting Amazon’s Hunters, Logan Lerman admitted that he isn’t really interested in playing a superhero.

Logan Lerman is no stranger to being a part of big franchises, having stared in the Percy Jackson films, but it sounds like that is behind him. With studios putting out more superhero movies than ever before, many young actors are often up for them. Logan Lerman’s name is one that is often brought up with various superhero roles like Spider-Man and Nightwing.

However, in an interview with GQ, Logan Lerman talked about why the Amazon series, Hunters, appealed to him. The Hunters star also went into why he isn’t interested in doing a big superhero franchise:

“I’ve had bigger projects that I’ve turned down. I look back and I’m like, ’Oh, that was successful. It wasn’t something that I really liked, but I probably should have done that.’ But this one came around and I was like: ‘I’m right for it. And I like it. Now, studios aren’t making movies that aren’t based off of IP that matters to them. If you try to get in there, you get stuck in the bureaucracy trying to get approval from the chains of command. Then you’re going nowhere. Plus, I don’t really want to wear tights and shit.”

Is there still a superhero role you would like to see Logan Lerman play? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!

Here is the synopsis for Hunters:
