The second season of Tom Hiddleston’s upcoming series, Loki, has added Moon Knight directors Benson And Aaron Moorhead to helm the series.
When Loki debuted last year, it quickly became one of Marvel’s most successful and most popular Disney Plus series. Not only did it tell a compelling story starring Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief, but also contributed to the larger Marve Cinematic Universe in a big way. Of the initial Disney Plus series it was the first, and so far only, series to be renewed for a second season.
As work on the second season continues, more cast members have been confirmed to return with Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw both set to appear in season 2. Production for the series is said to begin sometime in the summer of this year. Now, at last, some of the directors for the series have been revealed.
According to a report from Deadline, Moon Knight directors Benson and Aaron Moorhead are set to direct the series. The two directors dipped their toes in the MCU pool with Moon Knight where the two are said to have directed six of the series episodes. It is currently unknown how many episodes of Loki they will direct.
Here’s the synopsis for the first season of Loki:
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
