Brand New Trailer For M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Glass’ Coming This Thursday

M. Night Shyamalan Glass Split Unbreakable

Worlds are set to collide this upcoming January. What started as its own superhero film in 2000, the world of M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable is on a collision course with the characters of Split, with the end of Split confirming that this movie indeed takes place in the same world occupied by Bruce Willis’ David Dunn. And since then, we’ve gotten a taste of what’s to come thanks to the trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, but now there’s even more on the way as soon as this week.

Indeed, today, the main Twitter handle for the Glass film announced today that there would be a new trailer for Glass later this week, along with an image of James McAvoy as The Beast from Split. Per the announcement: “James McAvoy is The Beast. Watch the new trailer for #GlassMovie Thursday.” Have a look at the announcement of the new Glass trailer in the tweet below:

And following that, here’s the synopsis for Glass and how it lines up with the events of Split and Unbreakable:

“Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of [Elijah] Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.”

So indeed, Samuel L. Jackson’s Price will indeed still be a factor in tapping into The Beast’s abilities, perhaps in the same way that he orchestrated events that allowed David Dunn to realize his superhuman abilities. After the Comic-Con trailer, what do you hope for in this new trailer for Glass? Let us know in the comments below.

Glass is directed by M. Night Shyamalan and will star Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Spencer Treat Clark, Charlayne Woodard, James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Sarah Paulson. The film is set to hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
