New photos from the set of Madame Web offer fans a fresh look at the film’s main cast members.

Madame Web is currently filming in New York City, with Dakota Johnson and most of the film’s cast members on set. The latest photos from the film’s set, which were shared by the folks at Just Jared, give us a look at Johnson shooting her scenes alongside Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced and Celeste O’Connor. You can check out the photos below.

Is Ezekiel Sims the villain of Madame Web?

A separate batch of Madame Web set photos show actor Tahar Rahim suited up and barefoot, rocking the exact same look as a classic Spider-Man character named Ezekiel Sims. Rahim’s character is rumored to be the main villain of the upcoming film, but its plot is being kept under lock and key.

Earlier this year, Dakota Johnson shared her excitement about starring in the comic book movie. “It’s pretty cool to be in the Marvel world, especially with a character that’s not so known, Johnson told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s a lot of space to make her very cool. I’m really excited. It’s always been a dream of mine to do some kind of massive action movie.”

Here is the synopsis for Sony’s latest Spider-Man spin-off Morbius:

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed and transforms this healer into a hunter.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbus stars Jared Leto as the lead anti-hero, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach produced the film alongside Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel overseeing for Sony.

Morbius is now available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Meanwhile, Madame Web hits theaters on February 16, 2024. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Sony’s various Spider-Man spin-off films and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
