Man of Tomorrow still has a few tricks up its sleeve! The Superman sequel’s latest rumor suggests there may be a surprise addition to the cast.
With Man of Tomorrow set to start filming next summer, some fans have already made up their mind about what to expect from the sequel. Many see it as a straight-forward continuation of the stories of Superman and Peacemaker, with the cast of both shows continuing their stories as they take on (and hopefully take down) Brainiac.
However, it seems the cast may be evolving past just the Superman crew. A rumor from insider DanielRPK suggests that “a young actress in her 20s” will be brought on to the sequel. There isn’t any word on what actresses are being considered for the role, but it seems that they will have a sizeable presence in Man of Tomorrow.
Who Is The Mystery Girl In Man Of Tomorrow?
There have been countless female characters that have been floated as potentially filling this role in Man of Tomorrow. Perhaps the most viral suggestion has been Wonder Woman, given she has her own solo movie in development. However, given most of the Superman cast sits in their 30s, it’s not likely an actress in their early 20s would play Wonder Woman in the sequel.
The more likely character to fill the shoes of this rumor if Mercy Graves. She’s perhaps the most iconic Superman supporting cast member that didn’t appear in the original movie. And with Man of Tomorrow focusing so heavily on Lex Luthor, it would make sense for Man of Tomorrow to add one of his most loyal lackeys to the cast.
