Is Lex Luthor the true Man of Tomorrow? The villain’s role in the sequel to the Superman Saga has seemingly been revealed in a new rumor!
Following the reveal of Man of Tomorrow, the rumor mill has entered into overdrive when it comes to details about the next installment in the Superman Saga. Even though it’s likely very few aside from James Gunn himself have read the script, there’s already been reports of roles for John Cena’s Peacemaker and Jason Momoa’s Lobo. However, nobody has gotten more focus in reports about the sequel than Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor.
It has already been confirmed that Nicholas Hoult will return as Lex Luthor in Man of Tomorrow. However, what role he’ll play in the sequel is less than clear. Some key art for the project shows him and Superman coming to blows, while others tease that he may be working together with the Man of Steel. This, of course, has left the rumor mill to pick up the slack.
Lex Luthor’s Role In Man Of Tomorrow
A rumor from inside DanielRPK reveals that, not only will Lex Luthor have a large role in Man of Tomorrow, but that he’ll be the co-lead for the film. This suggests that Nicholas Hoult may have as much screen time as Rachel Brosnahan in the latest Superman film, with the scooper also confirming that Superman will team up with Luthor throughout the course of the film.
Of course, it’s not clear if Lex Luthor and Superman will start out as a team, only to fall apart, or if they’ll grow to be allies throughout the course of the film. Regardless, Man of Tomorrow is shaping up to be a particular interesting installment in the Superman Saga. And so long as it means fans get to see more of Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor, the audience is likely along for the ride!
