The series will mark the first live-action Star Wars project to take place in the High Republic era, which has previously been explored through novels and comic books. The Acolyte is set towards the end of the High Republic era and will explore the re-emergence of the dark side in the galaxy.
Manny Jacinto is the latest name to be added to The Acolyte‘s cast list, though his role in the series has not yet been disclosed.
