Mark Ruffalo Thinks Bong Joon-Ho Would Be A Great Marvel Director

Mark Ruffalo confirmed that he’s in talks for HBO’s Parasite series and thinks Bong Joon-ho would be a great director for a Marvel film.

Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo attended C2E2 in Chicago over the weekend and was asked a bunch of questions by fans during a panel. During the C2E2 panel, Mark Ruffalo confirmed that he is in talks for She-Hulk and to play the dad on the upcoming Parasite HBO series. Of course, Parasite had a very successful awards season capturing Best Picture, Bong Joon-ho winning Best Director, and several others.

Mark Ruffalo also added that he thinks Bong Joon-ho would be a great director for a Marvel film. Bong Joon-ho is no stranger to comic book films, having directed Avengers star Chris Evans in Snowpiecer. Marvel Studios has also been going after bigger names over the years like Ryan Coogler and Sam Raimi, so it wouldn’t be a stretch. Bong Joon-ho has also said in the past that he wouldn’t be opposed to directing a superhero movie, but has joked that he can’t get past the tight-fitting costumes.

What superhero film would you like to see Bong Joon-ho direct? Have you seen Parasite yet? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!

Mark Ruffalo last appeared as the Hulk in Avengers: Endgame, here’s the official synopsis for the film:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
