In a recent report, Mark Ruffalo’s first post Avengers 4 job was announced and this latest collaboration is a familiar one.
In the Deadline report, Mark Ruffalo will reportedly star in an unnamed drama to be produced by Spotlight studio, Participant Media. The film in question is currently unnamed but but will revolved around the true story of lawyer Robert Bilott, who took on a case that exposed a decades-long history of chemical pollution. Ruffalo is currently set to play Robert Bilott.
Such projects are nothing new to Ruffalo. In between Avenger projects, the fifty year old actor has starred in a number of critical acclaimed films that earned him high praise and Oscar nominations. The next year he received the same nomination for his role in the 2015 Best Picture Winner, Spotlight. And from the look of things, Mark Ruffalo’s time in the Oscar spotlight is far from over.
