You’ve got Old Man Logan. And there’s Old Man Hawkeye. Given Marvel Comics’ extensive catalog of characters, by the time that most of us are old or gone, Old Man [Insert Marvel Character Here] may be the standard. Nevertheless, let’s get away from those two and head towards the sky to talk about a Guardian of the Galaxy who will soon be getting their Old Man series. Oh, let’s just get right to it. It’s Star-Lord himself, Peter Quill, in the upcoming “Old Man Quill” series.
Earlier today, Marvel Comics writer Ethan Sacks took to Twitter to announce a secret that he had been sitting on for quite some time: his next major project for Marvel Comics would be a series entitled “Old Man Quill.” Coincidentally enough, the first person to apparently know about this news is Star-Lord’s Marvel Cinematic Universe real-life counterpart- Chris Pratt, who has played Peter Quill in both the Guardians of the Galaxy films, as well as Avengers: Infinity War.
Here, have a look at the announcement of the “Old Man Quill” series in the tweet below
An announcement! OLD MAN QUILL. I’ve been sitting on this secret so long. Oddly, the first person to know about it was @prattprattpratt by accident. Seriously. I told him he’d need a couple of decades of hard Hollywood living if he wanted to play this role. https://t.co/KqTzIUiTty

Based off what information about the plot was revealed prior, the series will take place in a future continuity not unlike what we’ve seen previously with “Old Man Logan” and “Old Man Hawkeye.” So, with that being said, what do you hope to see in an “Old Man Quill” series? And given how Chris Pratt was apparently the first to know about this news, do you think, down the line, you would want to see him play an Old Man Quill? Assuming these superhero movies are even still a thing decades from now, but who knows? Technology works wonders.
