Marvel has some big plans for 2025! A recently released trailer shows off the studio’s Disney Plus slate for next year, which includes first looks at shows like Ironheart and Daredevil: Born Again.
2025 is set to be a big year for Marvel Studios. This year has been comparatively weak for the superhero juggernaut, with the industry coming off a wave of strikes and Disney vowing to greatly reduce their output. This left many worried that some of the previously announced shows coming to Disney Plus may be heavily delayed or even cancelled. A new trailer puts those fears to rest.
Marvel Studios recently published a video with the title Look Ahead, which seeks to show off their Disney Plus slate for 2025 ahead of the finale of Agatha All Along. It essentially served as a trailer for multiple upcoming projects, including brand new looks for Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, Wonder Man, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, What If…?, Marvel Zombies, and Eyes of Wakanda. Marvel’s Beefy Disney Plus Slate For 2025
This lineup might come as surprising for fans who recall Marvel Studios’ promise to slow down their release schedule for Disney Plus content. However, it is important to note that Marvel Animation is considered to be a different category than their live-action projects, regardless of if they’re canon to the MCU or not. So while six new shows are releasing next year (with What If…? coming in 2025), only three are considered core projects for Marvel Television.
Interestingly, despite Marvel filming their finales to the multiverse saga next year, the Disney Plus line-up is a diverse list of new and old faces. While shows like Ironheart and Daredevil: Born Again continue the stories of characters seen previously in the MCU, others like Wonder Man and Eyes of Wakanda give brand new perspectives unique to their own shows. Even Marvel Zombies is set to debut Blade into the multiverse!
