Marvel’s Kevin Feige On Origin Of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Title

You heard Tony Stark mention the word during Avengers: Age of Ultron, and again uttered by Doctor Strange in Infinity War. But just how long ago did the title for Avengers: Endgame come about? Well, according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, quite some time.

While at the Golden Globes last night, Kevin Feige answered a series of rapid-fire questions from Josh Horowitz at MTV News, and one of them was just how long did Feige himself know the title for Avengers: Endgame and for just how long was it in place:

“It was in place before we started developing the movie, or just as we were developing it. So Doctor Strange says that line because we knew it was the title.”

Well, sorry there, Iron Man, but looks like Stephen Strange gets to claim the victory for being the one to call the Avengers: Endgame title. Here, you can watch Kevin Feige discuss the Endgame title in the video below at the 1:12 mark.

So what do you think of Kevin Feige’s words about the inception of the title for Avengers: Endgame? More than that, what do you think of Stephen Strange being the one to say the word because Marvel Studios knew that was the title? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Meanwhile, here’s the synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
