Deadpool is out to forge his own path! The latest Avengers: Doomsday rumor teases that Ryan Reynolds’ Merc With A Mouth will form a new team.
With Ryan Reynolds now officially confirmed to return as Deadpool in Avengers: Doomsday, there’s been a lot of questions about what role he’ll play in the film. The rumor mill has been rather obsessed with there being different “teams” throughout the film, so much of the speculation has centered around which of them he’ll join?
The answer? None. The latest rumor from Cryptic HD Quality suggests that Deadpool will be forming his own team in Avengers: Doomsday. While the leaker goes on to add that the aforementioned team will be folded into an existing one, this does still suggest that Ryan Reynolds’ anti-hero will end up being one of the starring pillars in the upcoming film.

Deadpool’s Team In Avengers: Doomsday
Given the events of the last Deadpool movie, quite a few members from his team can probably be guessed if this rumor ends up being true. It wouldn’t be shocking to see Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen return as Wolverine and X-23 alongside Ryan Reynolds. And while Channing Tatum’s Gambit is likely joining another team, nothing is stopping people like Colossus, Dopinder, and Cable from reappearing alongside the heroes.
As for people like Jennifer Garner’s Elektra and Wesley Snipes’ Blade, their inclusion seems less likely, at least in Avengers: Doomsday. It’s clear that Ryan Reynolds wanted their return to be a big moment in the last Deadpool film. So, if either of them were to return, it would likely be during the events of Secret Wars and end up being entirely unrelated to this rumor.
