Could Kit Connor be joining the Young Avengers? A new rumor suggests Marvel is eyeing the Heartstopper star to play Hulkling in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ever since a Young Avengers project was teased at the end of The Marvels, fans have been speculating who Marvel would be recruiting to fill out the MCU’s newest super team. Given Wiccan’s upcoming role in Agatha All Along, it seemed almost certain that his longtime partner Hulkling would be making his debut sooner rather than later.
Sooner appears to be the operative word! A rumor from Hollywood insiders MyTimeToShineHello and Alex Perez reveals that Marvel is reportedly eyeing Kit Connor to play Hulkling in the MCU. Connor previously starred in Heartstopper alongside Wiccan actor Joe Locke. Marvel is already cementing the duo’s chemistry before Young Avengers has even entered production!
The Cast Of Marvel’s Young Avengers Project
Kit Connor and Joe Locke aren’t the only actors highly speculated to be joining Young Avengers. A number of Marvel stars are all but confirmed to appear alongside Hulkling and Wiccan. Some familiar MCU faces include Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang.
However, it’s likely Kit Connor’s Hulkling won’t be the only new face Marvel recruits. One of the most iconic members of the team is Wiccan’s brother Speed who, despite having appeared in WandaVision, has no older actor cast for the MCU.It’s likely Marvel will handle that once Young Avengers officially enters production.
