The trailer for Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Eternals is out!

Eternals have proven itself to be Marvel Studios’ most divisive project. While the film has its ardent fanbase, the Marvel project ended up with the lowest Rotten Tomatoes score in the franchise’s history. Audiences have started to revisit the film since its debut on Disney Plus and while it may not be a cult classic just yet, Marvel fans are warming up Chloe Zhao’s sci-fi epic.

Almost everyone has seen the complex and ruminative film by now, which is why Disney Plus has released the behind-the-scenes documentary Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Eternals. The nearly hour-long doc showcases how Chloe Zhao used practical effects and lighting to create Eternals‘ unique look, how Marvel President Kevin Feige and co. approached Jack Kirby’s source material, and the various ways the film’s ensemble cast bonded and worked with one another.

If you need a tease to get you ready for the documentary, Marvel Studios has released a brief trailer that highlights some of the key moments from the Eternals behind-the-scenes doc.

Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Eternals is available now for your viewing pleasure on Disney Plus.

Here is the synopsis for Eternals:

The story takes place across two time periods. One storyline is set in the past when they operated as a formidable team and a close family unit. The second storyline is in the present, when the group has fractured and split apart, content to live among humans, hiding in plain sight. The prevailing threat of the Deviants, which once again threatens the existence of mankind, means the Eternals need to put their differences aside and regroup.

Chloe Zhao directed Eternals from a script she co-wrote with Patrick Burleigh, Kaz Firpo, and Ryan Firpo. The cast of the Marvel Studios project includes Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.
