Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige opened up about continuing Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool after the Fox-Disney merger.

Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios’ plans for the X-Men and Fantastic Four seems to be pointing towards an MCU reboot. However, Disney CEO Bob Iger has said Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool will be the only Fox-X-Men franchise that will survive the merger and remain R-rated. This is no surprise given Ryan Reynolds’ success as Deadpool and the films earning more than a billion dollars worldwide. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently told Variety:

“When we were purchased, Bob said to us, ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. There’s no question that Deadpool is working, so why would we change it?”
