Marvel Studios will be hosting a panel focused on their upcoming animation projects at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

After a three-year hiatus, Kevin Feige confirmed last month that Marvel Studios would make their grand return to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. On Saturday night of the convention, it’s expected that the studio will reveal more from their upcoming live-action titles and announce some additions.

Marvel Studios’ Comic-Con Comeback!

Since we last caught up with Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con, they have also entered the world of animation with What If…? On the official San Diego Comic-Con website, the Friday schedule lists another Marvel Studios panel from 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM CST, focused on their upcoming animation projects, which include What If…? season two, Marvel Zombies, X-Men ’97, and Spider-Man: Freshman Year. The panel will also feature Marvel’s head of streaming, television and animation Brad Winderbaum, head of visual development Ryan Meinerding, and special guests.

Here is the synopsis for the studio’s latest series, Ms. Marvel:

Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?

The series stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, and Farhan Akhtar. Episodes of the series were directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with Bisha K. Ali serving as the head writer. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is involved in the series as an executive producer.

Ms. Marvel is now streaming on Disney Plus, with new episodes released every Wednesday. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming animation projects, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more original video content.
