Kevin Feige announced Marvel Studios would be back in Hall-H for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
San Diego Comic-Con 2022 will take place from July 21 to July 24 with its regular in-person event for the first time post-COVID. The last convention was held in 2019, where Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios hosted their presentation in Hall H and announced Phase Four.
After Kevin Feige recently teased that Marvel’s plans for their next saga would soon become apparent, he confirmed that the studio would have a presentation at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con during Thor: Love and Thunder‘s press conference:
“We’ll be at Comic-Con next month, which we’re excited about. First time since we were on stage there three years ago talking about this movie and many others. And now, I think, almost, not everything but almost everything we discussed three years ago, that was released so we are excited to go and talk about the future.”
What Can We Expect From Marvel?
When they appear at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios always bring the house down. With more projects than ever, audience members can probably expect to see new footage from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, Secret Invasion, Ironheart, and more.
We might also get more information on the upcoming Blade and Fantastic Four reboots from Kevin Feige. Additionally, Marvel Studios could confirm projects that have been reported, such as Nova, Daredevil, Wonder Man, Thunderbolts, and perhaps a clearer idea of their plans for the X-Men.
Here is the synopsis for Marvel Studios’ next film, Thor: Love and Thunder:
The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.
Directed by Taika Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum, the Marvel film stars Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Taika Waititi, Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
