The latest TV spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features Marvel Zombies!
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is clearly taking a page out of the animated series What If…?, which proposed hypothetical scenarios that could have taken place in the multiverse. One such scenario involved the Avengers being infected by a virus that turned them into Zombies. Now, these terrifying creatures are set to make their live-action debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
We received a brand new trailer for the Doctor Strange sequel on the eve of the Super Bowl which featured tons of new teases like Professor X. However, Marvel Studios expanded on the trailer by debuting even more new footage during the Big Game itself. The Super Bowl TV spot features a decent amount of new footage, including Marvel Zombies! It’s unclear who the Big Bad will be in the sequel (there’s Mordo, Rintrah, Gargantos, maybe even Scarlet Witch? Oh, and Strange Supreme) but these pesky brain-eating villains should make a favorable foe for Strange and co.
In the TV spot below you’ll see the undead versions of both Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch… That takes fighting yourself to a whole other level.
Here is the synopsis for Marvel Studios’ next film:
