Marvel’s Joe Quesada Shares Photo Of Catwoman Drawing

Joe Quesada Marvel Catwoman

Marvel’s Joe Quesada recently drew DC’s Catwoman and shared a photo for our viewing pleasure.

One of Marvel’s most iconic artists and creative forces is Joe Quesada, who currently participates in the role of Executive Vice President and Creative Director at the entertainment company. In a rare instance, the Marvel superstar drew a pretty awesome look at DC’s iconic femme fatale Catwoman.

Joe Quesada appeared on The Original Drink and Draw Social show where he created the Catwoman drawing. Taking to his Twitter, the Marvel Creative Director shared a high-res picture of his Catwoman drawing, which you can check out below.

Joe Quesada’s take on Catwoman isn’t necessarily revolutionary, but it’s always interesting to see someone from a different camp show their take on a hero. In the drawing, Catwoman is rocking the classic goggles and a skin-tight suit. Joe Quesada’s Catwoman also has a belt buckle to finish off the suit.

It’s quite fantastic for Joe Quesada, one of the head guys over at Marvel, to do something like this for a character that is technically from from their rival publication. At the end of the day, the rivalry between Marvel and DC is entirely arbitrary as both have cemented themselves as pioneers for vastly different reasons. In fact, Joe Quesada has had some of his work shown off in Batman comics before.

Catwoman will return to the big screen in The Batman. Plot details on The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
