The Batman Robert Pattinson Matt Reeves Trailer Shot

Matt Reeves’ vision for the Batman franchise is explored in a new behind-the-scenes reel from DC FanDome.

The Batman is easily one of the most anticipated DC movies in the pipeline, and it rounded out DC FanDome on Saturday. Before fans got a look at the new trailer, a behind-the-scenes clip was shown first.

In the behind-the-scenes featurette for The Batman, Robert Pattinson talks about his affection for the character, Matt Reeves explains his vision, and Zoe Kravitz discusses her approach to Catwoman. The reel also featured some new shots from the film, including one of Batman beating a criminal with a bat. You can watch the latest look at The Batman from DC FanDome below.

The plot of The Batman is being kept under lock and key, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger version of Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as the Dark Knight of Gotham City. The film will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the hero. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films with Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman will hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the upcoming DC film, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
