Matthew McConaughey transforms into the DC Comics villain Two-Face in an awesome new fan edit for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

Harvey Dent, a.k.a. Two-Face, is perhaps one of Batman’s more sympathetic villains. Traditionally, Harvey is depicted as the District Attorney of Gotham City in the pages of DC Comics, serving as both an ally and an antagonist to the Dark Knight. However, Harvey’s battle against Gotham’s underworld always ends with his transformation into the horribly-disfigured supervillain Two-Face.

Currently, there have only been two live-action iterations of Two-Face on the big screen. The first was played by Tommy Lee Jones in the 1995 Joel Schumacher film Batman Forever, with the actor replacing Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent. The second, and arguably more memorable take on Two-Face, was brought to life by Aaron Eckhart in the 2008 Christopher Nolan film The Dark Knight, where the weight of the ongoing battle with the mafia and The Joker caused him to crack and become a villain.

There had been rumors that Harvey Dent would return to the big screen in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, but Warner Bros. never even commented on those reports. However, digital artist “AwedopeArts” has an actor in mind for the role. The artist recently shared an impressive concept design on Instagram, showing Matthew McConaughey as Two-Face for Pattinson’s The Batman. You can see the artwork below.

Plot details for The Batman are under wraps but the project will be centered on Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. The film is also expected to be the first installment to a new trilogy with Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Matthew McConaughey, Two-Face and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more video content!
