Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson displayed some great comedic chemistry with each other in Marvel Studios’ blockbuster, Thor: Ragnarok. As Thor and Valkyrie respectively, audiences couldn’t have enough of their camaraderie. Now, Hemsworth and Thompson will share the screen together once again, although instead of donning their Asgardian attire, they will be sporting the iconic suits of the Men in Black in a brand new spinoff.
F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton; The Fate of the Furious) is directing this new Men in Black spinoff with Hemsworth and Thompson as our two leads of this sci-fi comedy adventure. The film will find a London-based team of MIB agents traveling through the globe as they deal with a new murder mystery.
Production is still well-underway, but Thompson shared this interesting photo of her character Agent M alongside Hemsworth’s Agent H as they are in their MIB uniforms with black umbrellas exploring a desert. You can check out the photo down below:
We already have proof that Hemsworth and Thompson can bounce off one another with great, hilarious banter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now that they are in a completely different universe and another beloved sci-fi franchise, we get another chance to see if this comedic dynamic translates well without the characters of Thor and Valkyrie involved.
Are you excited to see Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson reunite as the leads of this Men in Black spinoff? How do you think F. Gary Gray will do the franchise justice?
