Batman Halloween Costume Appears To Be Based On Michael Keaton’s ‘Batgirl’ Suit

Kids can dress up as the 70-year-old Batman for Halloween this year!

Batman Michael Keaton Batgirl

A Batman Halloween costume spotted in the wild resembles Michael Keaton’s suit in Batgirl.

2022 was originally intended to be the year of Batman, with Robert Pattinson kicking off a new series with Matt Reeves and the return of Michael Keaton’s Dark Knight in both The Flash and Batgirl. The Flash has since been delayed to 2023, while Batgirl will no longer come out at all.

Michael Keaton’s Batman appearance in The Flash has only been teased, but his look in the canceled Batgirl film has been all over the internet thanks to behind-the-scenes and set photos. Keaton’s Batsuit in Batgirl was set to include the classic yellow bat symbol and the all-black look, complete with a black utility belt. It’s unclear at this time if the Batgirl suit will be the same one Keaton will also sport in The Flash.

Merchandise From a Canceled Movie?

With Halloween right around the corner, Daniel Pickett on Instagram spotted what seems to be a kid’s Batman costume based on his look in Batgirl. Given all of the release date changes and delays, it makes sense that some merchandise from the scrapped film is making its way onto store shelves.
