A new set photo from the upcoming Batgirl film has given us a new look at Michael Keaton’s Batman suit and J.K. Simmons’ Commissioner Gordon.
The upcoming Batgirl film is one that has an interesting cloud over its head. It will be the first official DC Extended Universe Batman-based film to be released following Justice League and Ben Affleck’s steadily distancing himself from the role. While he is currently set to return one last time for The Flash, it is said that Michael Keaton’s version of the character will be DCEU’s version of the character going forward.
Earlier this year, production for the upcoming film, Batgirl started taking its shoot outdoors and several photos of the film leaked. This included a great look at Leslie Grace as the titular character and a set image of J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Earlier this month, we also got our first look at Michael Keaton as Batman but unfortunately, the images were not of the best quality. Now at long last, we have a better look at the costume.
A new series of set images from Alan Fettes show Batman in the costume he will be wearing in the upcoming Batgirl film. It is not Michael Keaton wearing this outfit, however, but one of his body doubles. The images also show J.K. Simmons’ Commissioner Gordon with hair, indicating that this scene maybe some kind of flashback.

DC’s Batgirl movie is set to follow the Barbara Gordon iteration of the Gotham City heroine. Barbara was last seen in a live-action feature film in Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin, with Alicia Silverstone playing the iconic DC Comics character. JK Simmons also stars as Commissioner Gordon, Brendan Fraser appearing as the villain Firefly, and Michael Keaton as Batman.
Batgirl will hit HBO Max sometime this year. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
