It seems that Spider-Man: Far From Home will not see the return of everyone as director Jon Watts has confirmed that Vulture actor and Batman star Michael Keaton will not return for the latest film.
During a recent interview with Fandango, the director talked at length about the upcoming film. When asked about Michale Keaton’s Vulture, however, he stated that he and his daughter would not be appearing in the upcoming film:
Keaton is not in the movie, and Laura is not in the movie.
From the look of things, Spider-Man: Far From Home won’t be including one of its predecessors best characters!
Michael Keaton, of course, played the film’s antagonist, the Vulture. After a contract to clean up New York City after the events of the first Avengers film, Michael Keaton’s character took to robbing shipments full of dangerous tech from other villans and selling them on the black market which eventually brought him into conflict with Spider-Man. The last we saw of Michael Keaton’s Vulture he was in prison protecting Spider-Man’s identity. And, from the look of things, we won’t be seeing where this leads in the next film.
What do you all make of this news? Are you sad that Michael Keaton’s Vulture will not be returning for Spider-Man: Far From Home? What did you think of his character in the film? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
