It looks as though Guardians Of The Galaxy actor Michael Rooker will be reprising his role as Yondu in Avengers: Infinity War, but apparently the higher-ups didn’t want the people in Atlanta, Georgia to know about that. Rooker improvised, and the end result is… Something, to say the least.
From what little of it we can see, the bean cap that Rooker is wearing seems to have the same logo as the one that Sean Gunn wore a month ago. Presuming that Rooker’s not just kidding about his bosses telling him to hide his involvement, one has to question the efficiency of sticking a piece of tape over a few words is when the easier alternative (flipping the cap inside-out) would be easier. In any case, Rooker’s involvement means that Yondu will be in the movie, and that all eight of the Guardians of the Galaxy featured in the forthcoming Vol. 2 will be appearing in the major crossover with the Avengers and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Avengers: Infinity War will break out on May 4, 2018.
