Insomniac Games, the developers behind Spider-Man: Miles Morales, recognized the young hero’s heritage in a new shot from the upcoming game.
With not long to go until Spider-Man: Miles Morales arrives on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, a new shot from Insomniac Games honors the hero’s Hispanic heritage in a still taken from the game’s camera mode. The follow-up/spin-off to 2018’s hugely popular Marvel’s Spider-Man will allow players to take their own stills from the game using the photo mode, and given that the new game will come with some highly detailed graphics on the PS5, those pictures should look stunning.
The Insomiac Games Twitter account recently posted a shot from the game of Miles Morales taking a selfie with a Puerto Rican flag painted across the side of a building, honoring Hispanic Heritage Month since the hero has an Afro-Puerto Rican ancestry. The still also shows off the intricate details in Miles’ Spider-Man suit, highlighting the textures of all the materials used to give him his iconic design. Take a look below.
