However, there’s been basically no leaks about what role Superman may or may not play in Supergirl. Some reports suggest that David Corenswet did some pick-up shots with Milly Alcock during reshoots. Luckily for fans, Milly Alcock herself actually let some details slip about what role Superman will end up playing in Supergirl. The actress recently sat down with Games Radar to discuss the upcoming DC Universe film. When asked what the hardest scene to film was, Alcock revealed that it was actually a scene with David Corenswet.
“Oh my god, it was…It was with Superman. And I wasn’t in the suit, and I was speaking… A different language. A different language,” Alcock explains. “Yeah, that day was really hard, it was, like, 2 degrees. [David Corenswet] jumped right in the deep end. Yeah, that was a hard day. The whole scene was in Kryptonian. The whole scene was, yeah…yeah, Kryptonian.”
While Milly Alcock didn’t give too many spoiler-ific details away, she may have tipped her hand when it comes to how Superman will influence Supergirl in the upcoming film. The scene she filmed with David Corenswet suggests that the two will share a scene in the modern day, likely reflecting on their shared heritage and how it influences who they are.
