The CW’s Gotham Knights has found its Harvey Dent in Supernatural star Misha Collins.

Misha Collins is returning to The CW! After playing a key role in Supernatural as the angel Castiel, the star has nabbed another role on the channel, this time as one of DC’s most iconic villains. Taking to Twitter, the star revealed that he’s been cast as Harvey Dent/ Two-Face in the upcoming Gotham Knights series.

Details are slim on the series, as well as Misha Collin’s take on the villain. It’s more than likely that Dent will have already assumed the moniker of Two-Face given that the series takes place in a post-Batman world. The concept of Gotham Knights is fascinating, as it’ll allow the younger, inexperienced, but still skilled heroes to take on some of Batman’s most experienced and menacing villains.

A video game based on the same team, though not related to The CW series, will debut later this year, making it the perfect cross-promotional event for the DC franchise.

Here is the premise for The CW’s Gotham Knights:

In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.
