A new report indicates that the production for the upcoming Disney Plus series, Ms Marvel has been delayed but that the character of Kamala Khan will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before the series debuts.

Productions were forced to shut down in order to keep the coronavirus from spreading and infecting cast and crew members. Now the series is scheduled to film through the winter of 2020/2021 as the coronavirus situation continues to evolve. However, the Ms Marvel Disney Plus series may not be the first time we see Kamala Khan.
In the same article, it is mentioned that Kamala Kahn will appear in some Marvel Cinematic Universe outing before debuting her own series. It did not mention if this would be in one of the Disney Plus series or one of the theatrical films. It also did not mention who may have been cast in the role.
