Fans may finally know the villain of Spider-Man: Brand New Day! The latest set photo from the production reveals a symbol that may hold the key to the film’s plot.
The rumor mill for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been absolutely chocked full of villains. From confirmed villains like Scorpion and Punisher, to unconfirmed baddies like Boomerang and Tombstone. However, despite how much information is swirling around, not a single rumor or set photo have given fans even a tease of who the main villain might be.
That is, until now. The latest set photo from Spider-Man: Brand New Day gave fans their best look yet at the tanks currently swarming the streets of Glasgow. The image shows a symbol that seems to show a feral cat, suggesting it may represent the owner of the tanks. While some casual fans have immediately jumped to this belonging to Black Cat, there is another, more likely, candidate for the film’s main villain.

Who Is The Villain Of Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
Given the wild nature of the cat seen on the tank, and the fact that it’s a tank at all, signs point to the true villain of Spider-Man: Brand New Day being the villain of Wild Pack herself: Silver Sable. Not only have Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures been interest in the character for quite some time, with the character having a scrapped solo movie with Black Cat, but she is one of the few Spider-Man villains that truly use military force in their endeavors.
This would also explain why so many villains have been rumored to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. If Silver Sable is the true villain, it’s likely that Marvel would want to staff Wild Pack with the most memorable faces they can afford. It also presents a very good reason to bring back Michael Mando’s Scorpion, as the character is often depicted as a mercenary.
