Disney has released a deleted scene from the live-action adaptation of Aladdin featuring a duet between Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott’s Princess Jasmine.
The new deleted scene reveals a brand new song titled “Desert Moon” performed by Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott. Legendary composer Alan Menken returned to provide to the score for Disney’s live-action Aladdin, composing new takes on classic musical numbers from the original film. Menken also co-wrote new songs for Aladdin with La La Land’s Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including “Speechless,” a solo performed by Naomi Scott in the film.
The new deleted song “Desert Moon” features a duet between Mena Massoud’s Aladdin and Naomi Scott’s Princess Jasmine. Disney has released the clip ahead of the film’s home release which you can check out below.

Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
“Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.
Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script he co-wrote with John August, the film stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim.
Disney’s live-action version of Aladdin will be available on Digital HD on August 27th and will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 10th.
